UPDATED 2008-02-03: Living Arcanis Supply Run certs can be used in any adventure (unless the adventure text specifically says otherwise). These certs can be downloaded and printed by any player or GM. It's usually a good idea to carry a spare set with you in case nobody else at the table brings a set, because you may not retroactively fill out Supply Run certs after an adventure is over.  See the Supply Run rules included in the ZIP file as well as the rules in the LARC, and if you have any questions about what you may or may not purchase on a Supply Run, contact a member of the campaign staff.

UPDATED 2008-02-05: The standard Marketplace now reflects the removal of the Expanded Psionics Handbook and the usage of Psionics Unbound in its place. We have also increased the amount of access to various items from many sources, particularly Forged in Magic: Revised and Expanded. There are new "enhancement bonus caps" for magic arms and armor which take into account the fact that the campaign's level cap has been steadily increasing over the last several years and will eventually reach 20th level. Finally, we have added a note that named magic items may not be purchased using special materials unless the magic item's description specifically states that it can be made out of a specific special material.

The Living Arcanis Marketplace Package may ONLY be used by APPROVED retail store events, game days, and conventions. You do not need to be running RPGA games at your convention in order to offer a Living Arcanis Marketplace. You do need to be offering Living Arcanis events, however (in other words, we will not approve a Marketplace if that Marketplace would be the only Living Arcanis activity at the game day or convention).

The BEST way to get your event approved is to join the Living Arcanis Convention Support mailing list and register your event. (Registration is free and also helps you get a shot at premiere adventures and other forms of convention support from Paradigm Concepts, along with Marketplace access, so there really is no downside.)  Home games are NEVER approved to run a Marketplace so don't ask. (That's part of what the Supply Run certs are for -- any event of any size can use those in any adventure and it doesn't require any form of prior approval.)

One more time for clarity: If you have not gotten permission from the LA Convention Liaison to run a Marketplace at your event, then you MAY NOT use the Marketplace package. If you run a Marketplace without approval from the campaign staff, any certs you issue will be null and void, and that won't make your players happy at all.

NOTE TO CONVENTION COORDINATORS: If you have not already done so, please join the LAConSupport list so that you can be kept up-to-date about the availability of new adventures, premieres, and other special events. This list is also the best, easiest, and fastest way to request and receive approval for a Marketplace at your event.
